A little more time

I just snapped a shot of the offsets of my time server since I changed over the box .

It is very clear where the change happened — the offset drops off a cliff — but then the machine appears to swing wildly for a couple of days, hunting for stability but overshooting each time. Then, suddenly and for no apparent reason, in the middle of the Friday afternoon this behaviour ceases, and a gentle curve moves the offset slowly towards zero.
